FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The Adrian College varsity synchronized skating team earned second place honors at the 2008 Midwestern & Pacific Sectional held in Franklin, Tennessee on Saturday.

In the eight-team field, the Bulldogs were only behind Miami University (Ohio) in the final standings. The Adrian squad finished ahead of such teams as Northwestern University and Colorado University.

In three competitions this year, the Bulldogs have finished at or above second place in the final standings.

The team will next compete at the Tri-State Synchronized Skating Championships held in Midland, Michigan on February 16.
