ADRIAN, Mich. - Adrian College's Chris Calley was one of 20 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's track and field performers to be named to the 2008 All-MIAA squad on Monday. Calley (Warren, Mich./Lincoln H.S.) was an integral part of the Bulldogs' showing at the MIAA Field Day last week. The junior was a member of the school record-setting 4 x 100 meter relay team which finished first at the competition. Calley also finished fifth in the 100 meter dash and second in the 200 meter dash. His time of 21.95 in the finals of the 200 meter dash set a new school record in the event. Calley, who is also a member of the Adrian College football team, is the first Bulldog to earn All-MIAA honors in track and field since Ryan Seipke was named to the squad in 2003. |
