Complete Regional Rankings

ADRIAN, Mich. - Adrian College occupies the third slot in the third installment of the NCAA Mideast Regional rankings released on Thursday. The Bulldogs moved up one slot after ranking fourth in the first two weeks. Adrian concluded their regular season on Wednesday so the final two games against Alma were not included in the selection process.

It has been a historic season thus far as the Bulldogs have won a school-record 30 games and posted a 22-6 MIAA mark. Adrian went 15-4 at Nicolay Field in the first year at the new park. The Bulldogs have now recorded six straight winning seasons under head coach Craig Rainey.

AC can qualify for the NCAA tournament as an automatic qualifier. In order to do that they need to at least share the conference title. This afternoon, Calvin plays at Kalamazoo and Adrian needs the Hornets to win one game of a doubleheader to tie Calvin in the league standings. Adrian defeated Calvin three out of four games earlier this season and a conference tie means the Bulldogs advance to the postseason. If Calvin wins both games they will win the league outright. The Knights are currently ranked fourth in the region one spot behind Adrian.
