APPLETON, Wis. - Senior Bobby Rickstad of Kalamazoo (Comstock HS) was named ABCA Third Team All-American at the pre-nationals banquet on Thursday evening at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Rickstad has already had a very remarkable senior season helping lead his team to the national tournament for the first time in school history. He has produced time after time this season and during his career at Adrian College.

He has been solid once again on the mound going 6-2 with a 3.70 ERA in 10 starts. He has thrown five complete games, three shutouts, 56 innings and 47 strikeouts. He also is hitting .360 in 150 at-bats with 34 runs, nine doubles, seven home runs and 38 RBI's.

Rickstad ranks first all-time in the MIAA in conference RBI's (83) and ranks second in school history with 111 RBI's, 35 doubles and 23 wins on the hill.
