ADRIAN, Mich. - Sophomore punter Kevin Allaer (Wallaceburg, Ont.) has been named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in the Bulldogs final game of the season against Olivet. Allaer kept Olivet in poor field position with his punting in Adrian's 19-7 win over the Comets.

Allaer averaged 48 yards per punt on five punts, placing two punts inside the Olivet 20 yard line. He is being honored as Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Allaer averaged 39.8 yards per punt during the 2008 season. He blasted seven kicks over 50 yards, and showed his accuracy by pinning the opponent inside the 20 yard line 11 times. Overall, Allaer kicked 41 punts to net 1,632 yards for the Bulldogs.
