ADRIAN, Mich. - The men's tennis team just needed a change of venue as they came up with a big 5-4 win over Manchester College on the outdoor courts of the Craft Tennis Complex. It was the second win of the season for the Bulldogs who rallied for a dramatic victory.

The Bulldogs had a pair of wins at one and three doubles to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. Chris Ludwig and Dominic Merollis had little trouble in an 8-3 win at one doubles over Andrew Tkacs and Dan Beedle. Orlo Yeagley and Jeff Kennard also had a strong showing at three doubles with an 8-2 win over Craig Craun and Kyle Watson.

The entire match hinged on the one singles matchup as Ludwig was down 5-2 in the final set and fought off match points to come back and win 7-5 in the third set. Ludwig defeated Tkacs by the scores of 7-5, 2-6, 7-5. Merollis completed a very good day individually with a 6-3, 6-2 win at three singles against Jeremy Patterson. Blake Childs rebounded from a doubles loss to post a 6-4, 6-3 win over Beedle at four singles.
