Sophomore center Kim Olech was named Second Team All-MIAA today as announced by the conference office (Mar. 3) after a fine season which saw the ladies advance to the MIAA Tournament Semifinals.

Olech turned into a team leader with her consistent play during the MIAA season and did very well down the stretch for the Bulldogs. She averaged 9.4 points per game which ranked 18th in the MIAA. She also ranked in the top 10 in the league in four different statistical categories including second in blocks per game (1.63), fifth in rebounds per game (7.4), sixth in field goal percentage (.500) and 10th in free throw percentage (.688).

Olech recorded seven double-doubles overall including four in conference action. She scored a season-high 19 points at Kalamazoo on February 7 and grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds on two occasions with the latest coming at Kalamazoo.
