ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's tennis team fell short in their bid to win four consecutive dual tennis matches this season when they dropped a non-conference contest with Huntington University, 8-1. The Bulldogs had their best showings of the day in the singles portion of the match. Katie MacFarlan and Emily Brede both forced tie-breakers in the second set of their singles matches before falling to their opponents. Robyn Bahr had an excellent day for the Bulldogs. After taking her first set by a 6-4 decision, Bahr stormed through the second set 6-1 to take the impressive win. The Bulldogs have two more MIAA dual matches remaining this regular season before the conference tournament. The Adrian College women's tennis team will take to the road on Tuesday and Thursday to battle conference foes Hope and Saint Mary's to wrap up the regular season portion of the schedule. |
