HOLLAND, Mich. - The Bulldog women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at Hope College on Tuesday as Katelyn Simcina earned a point with a straight sets win at two singles. She defeated Christine Garcia by the scores of 6-4, 6-2. Hope cruised in the five other singles matchups as Adrian managed just nine games against the Flying Dutch.

Simcina and Lindsey Eshelman had an 8-4 loss at one doubles against Lucy Himes and Sammi Stille in the closest matchup at doubles. Christine Garcia and Danielle Werley tripped up Katie MacFarlan and Robyn Bahr, 8-2, at two doubles. Leeann Brooks and Emily Brede fell 8-0 at three doubles against Katherine Garcia and Nicole Spagnuolo. Adrian is now 5-11 overall and 2-5 in the MIAA.
